The business I will open up is going to be a fitness center, called E’s Fitness Center. I think that this provides a much-needed service to the community, and also allows for expansion based on my success. For instance, if the gym is popular, I can slowly add more trainers, more workers, I can start selling merchandise like gym bags, shirts, water bottles, etc. I can also get involved in the vitamin/supplement sales. In my view, economics is money, and how it is used. It relates to me and my business in that the flow of money needs to be there in order for my fitness center to survive. I will have to not only spend wisely, but also learn how the national economics fits into my business on a smaller scale. I will have to learn about the economy of the area in which I decide to open my business in order to decide how much I can afford to spend, and how much I hope to earn.
