Here is one crappy right before springbreak blog
Political science is the government and the ways laws and regulations are set. The government could set various laws and regulations that would affect my business. They would set the zoning laws, which would tell me where I could have my business. They also would put fourth the amount of property taxes that I would have to pay. Political Science is tied to the economy in many ways. If there are high taxes levied on the people then spending from the people could be less and the market would not be as lucrative. Criminal justice is related because a lot of what they follow is put in place by the government. Also, the government funds various departments like the police and highway. So if there was less money to the police then there could be more crime towards my business. Well History does play a role in political science but not in the way one would think. The people founded this country, not the Native Americans, put in place certain things to protect the people. The constitution is one such item. This constitution gives people certain rights and freedoms against the government. So the part that history plays is that they don’t follow the constitution anymore and they do what they want (not sure how that plays into my business, but moving on). Language is all the political science consists of. People lobbying for this and that to people that know how to say the right things, which they don’t intend on following, at the right times to be elected. Psychology plays a part in all of this because people are so stuck to believe in one certain party that they don’t see anything wrong with what a republican or democrat says or does. The government decides what medicines can be used in the United States. Marijuana has some medical purposes but the government won’t allow that we use it. (I’m not a hippie and I am not saying it should be legalized). So in my fitness center I could make just about everyone that comes in to the center lean and strong, but, the government won’t let me use steroids
