1. I have learned a lot about the history of war and how evil the United States is. This class has also reaffirmed my belief that everything you hear on the news has a political agenda to it.
2. The thing I liked most about the classes was the books I read in them. All of the books were very good and the MAUS book was awesome. I also like the fact that this class wasn’t that hard.
3. I disliked the POS teacher’s aid or grad student that graded or test last semester. DR. Hilderbrand said don’t write too much on your test just the basics. Not true that that son of a… whatever it over thanks for the F’n B I liked it.
4. I don’t know if I would change it or get rid of it. The thing that I hate is it was just added not in place of something. It is just a ploy to make USD look better and get more money out of students.
5. I happy with taking the Peace and Conflict classes. AS much as I didn’t want to take them at first I did learn a lot and this last class was fun.
6. I’m not sure I haven’t taken any of the other ones.
7. I think I made me think about it more in depth and it made me more informed about the topic.
8. No
9. I think so I had to write a lot of papers in the earth science department and there is no colorful writing there just research.
10. I enjoyed the class over all and I hope my paper passes the plagiarizer machine so I don’t have to take it over.

Mass communication is any information sent out to mass amounts of people through a medium, such as television, newspapers, or magazines. The role that this communication would play in my business would be mostly in advertisements. These would serve to get the word out to reach people that might want to join my club. Mass communications would affect economics simply on how many people know about my business and how many join due to it. Adverting cost money but it also makes money. Mass communication could help keep my fitness center safer by announcing to the public that more police are going to be in the area. Also if I was robbed, the news could broadcast a description of the suspect to help find the criminal. My advertisements could talk about how long my center has been around and help to show the history that I have established with the community. Many advertisements could be translated into many languages depending on the area it is broadcast. This could help me reach a wider demographic of potential buyers. Medical could be affect by announcing my new line of rehab and preventive products only available at E’s fitness center. My ads could also talk about how peaceful the yoga room is with all its wonderful art. My business could take a stand on a certain candidate in a city election by doing this it could help swing voters. Religion is something that most people want to keep out of the mass media. But helping to promote a church fundraiser could help to promote a family-friendly environment. I could easily promote my business as having educated physical trainers and staff.

Education is any gaining of knowledge. This can be through class, job, watching, etc. Education would play a major role in my business. Anyone who would work with the clients would have to be educated in subjects like weight training, rehab, and cardio for the basics. There would also be other staff that would be educated in more specific areas like massage or acupuncture. People who don’t work one-on-one with clients but who work in more of a business area would have to be educated in areas of accounting and advertising.
Education would play a role in all disciplines and would affect my business greatly. Economics would be greatly affected if uneducated people were in charge of it. My businesses money could go into poor investments, bad advertising, bad bookkeeping, etc. Uneducated people in charge of my money and financial moves could single handily run my business into the ground. Criminal justice could have an affect if there is a burglary of my business and the offices that search the scene didn’t know what to look for or how to properly collect evidence. The person could steal from me and never be caught. Also if the law enforcement fails to find a hot spot of crime that is near my fitness center, then I could lose customers due to them feeling unsafe. I’ll come back to history. If my business were to be based in a big city with a lot of diversity then having educated employees that could speak different languages could benefit my business. Also if I had dumb employees that couldn’t speak English well, then that would reflect on my business poorly. Educated people have more confidence in themselves and would likely know more about their jobs. If I had educated people working for me when a client were to ask questions to an employee, the employee could more then likely answer them give the client a better feeling toward my center. Medical is an easy one. Having people that know about medicine and what to do in an emergency could help out in my fitness center because it would more than likely be a place where the occasional injury will occur. People who have an education in art could help me pick out art that could help people relax while doing yoga. Political Science, when run by stupid people that only get to places because of their father run cities or countries bad things could happen. For instance, if a war were to break out and I have people working for me as fitness trainers who are also in the army, they may be deployed and I would have to pay them for being at war and find a new person to fill their roles. Religion is a strong influence and when run poorly can end up in catastrophic results. Mass suicides and Tom Cruise are two things that come to mind.
Now back to history…past studies have come up with many new ways to work out and understand the body better. If stupid people were to do these studies then we wouldn’t have new techniques of attaining better health.
